About Me

Hello! I’m Amanda, my pronouns are she/her, and I’m a Los Angeles based, licensed marriage and family therapist. I specialize in working with creatives and individuals in the entertainment industry who struggle with eating disorders, body image, anxiety, career transitions, life changes, relational issues, grief, self-worth, and more.

With experience working at an inpatient eating disorder treatment facility, I take a holistic, integrative approach to therapy. I collaborate with a team of trusted professionals, including dietitians, psychiatrists, and medical doctors, to ensure you're receiving comprehensive care. I use HAES (Health at Every Size) and Intuitive Eating principles to focus on improving your relationship with food and your body, while helping you cultivate self-compassion.

My therapeutic approach combines relational work, understanding past experiences, and concrete interventions like CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), and the trauma resiliency model. Together, we will work on creating meaningful behavioral changes that will last. I can also refer you to trusted dietitians, primary care doctors, and psychiatrists to help you build your recovery team.

With over a decade of experience in the entertainment industry working with artists, musicians, and film/TV creators, I understand the unique pressures and challenges of this world. I bring this insight to my clinical practice to better support those in the creative community. I focus on strengths and approach therapy with empathy, compassion, and empowerment.

I also offer career and life coaching to help you navigate transitions and find clarity in your personal and professional life. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, burnout, or seeking greater confidence, I’m here to guide you on your journey to healing, calm, and self-discovery.
